Bamboo is convertible intoCharcoal in a specially designed kiln and depending on the temperature of the kiln, the quality of Bamboo charcoal gets altered. Regular charcoal has a surface area of 50 to 100 sq. mtr/gm while charcoal from our Bamboo has 900 to 950 sq. mtr/gm.
Biochar has large microscopic surface area due to the micro pores developed during pyrolysis and hence used as water purifier, gas cleaner, for removal of bad odour and as soil amendment to improve the soil and to sequester carbon.
Biochar when it is applied to the soil, it improves water infiltration, water holding capacity, C:N ratio, Ion exchange capacity, Nutrients retention and adsorption of pollutant.
It is used in cosmetics to clean the pores in the face and it is also used in tooth pastes to whiten teeth.
Regular use of bamboo charcoal-based soap or a bath powder is a great way to start. In addition, bamboo charcoal is useful when soaked in bath water. It releases important minerals including calcium, potassium and magnesium that can easily penetrate your skin and enter the blood stream.
